December started for Young PSV with a big win over Achilles '29. With two goals Beto da Silva put the pledges on the right track against the Groesbekers on Friday night at De Herdgang. It eventually became 4-0. Before the match there was a minute of silence in memory of the victims of the plane crash in Colombia.
Magic ball Beto
The more than five hundred spectators who came to the game on the first Friday evening of December saw Lundqvist and Lammers put in the limelight beforehand. Prior to the game they received a gift with a picture of their debut in PSV 1. Coincidentally, Lammers, who unlike Lundqvist was on the pitch as a player, had the first chance for PSV after 11 minutes. However, he shot somewhat hastily over keeper Te Loeke's goal. For a long time that seemed to be the highlight of the half, but just before the final whistle of the first half Beto da Silva pulled a fine half-volley out of his feet and with a peal into the crossbar he made it 1-0 at halftime.
Psv U21 runs out quickly
The first attack after halftime allowed Beto to cheer again. This time a cross from the right side of the pitch reached the head of the Peruvian international, who took advantage of the freedom and headed in the 2-0. Rosario made it 3-0 six minutes later. Like Beto, the midfielder found himself free in front of Te Loeke and did not fail to score. In the 63rd minute, Lammers also scored a goal by scoring the 4-0 from the penalty spot after pushing Abels in the back. That put the game in the bag for Young PSV. In the final minutes Joel Piroe made his debut in professional football as a replacement for Beto.
