For the third time in a row, PSV Women will be in the Cup Final. After ADO Den Haag and Ajax, this year's opponent is FC Twente. Coach Rick de Rooij and captain Kika van Es say they have a battle plan ready.

"The group looked forward to it tremendously," Kika told the press conference the day before the final. "That passion is perhaps the most important thing in a Cup final. It's only about one thing and that is that you win tomorrow. We have put up a very nice series apart from the last game. We have to continue that series now."

Rick de Rooij is happy that PSV is in the final of the TOTO KNVB Beker for the third year in a row. "At PSV you play for the prizes. We expected to be closer to the competition in the Eredivisie. That we can now still fight for a prize in a direct duel is very nice."

Battle plan
Then it's about the opponent: FC Twente. That team finished second in the league with only five goals against. Rick says his ladies are well prepared for tomorrow's opponent. "There is a battle plan, but we also continue to assume our own strength. The players are motivated to the bone. At practice it seemed like they were already playing the final."
