PSV - SC Cambuur will be the second-to-last fixture of the play-off round on Sunday. The team from Leeuwarden does not exactly have good memories of the Philips Stadium. Yet the Frisians gave PSV a real trauma by keeping their goal clean in the anniversary match.

PSV will play at home against SC Cambuur on Sunday for the ninth time in league play. Seven times PSV stepped off the field victorious and once both teams got a point. That happened on the day PSV celebrated its 100th anniversary. No goals were scored during the anniversary at Philips Stadium.

Positive balance
Last year, PSV won 4-1 over the Leeuwardeners. Davy Pröpper (18'), Eran Zahavi (21'), Noni Madueke (48') and Olivier Boscagli (90+4') were the celebrated men on PSV's side.

Record holder at home
The Philips Stadium is once again a stronghold this season. Already 31 points have been taken in 12 home games. This puts PSV above the rest. FC Twente is number two in this ranking.

Series of three
If PSV beats SC Cambuur, it will be only the second time PSV has won three consecutive Eredivisie matches. The previous series was a series of four wins in August. Then PSV took the full spoils against FC Emmen, Go Ahead Eagles, Excelsior and FC Volendam. A 2-1 defeat away at FC Twente (03-09-2022) marked the end of that series.

High efficiency
Johan Bakayoko has been involved in at least one goal in each of the last four Eredivisie games. In that series, the young Belgian scored three goals and provided two assists. Cody Gakpo was the only player to do the same this season.
