Captain Ramselaar satisfied: 'beautiful evening'
2 min

Bart Ramselaar didn't expect to be the first to take the field Wednesday night, but was a satisfied captain afterwards. "A nice evening, in a pretty relaxed way through to the next round," he said.

'C's'
Ramselaar told FOX Sports. "In a match like this, you can never do well enough. Fortunately, we go on in a pretty relaxed way," said the midfielder, who wore the band in the absence of the starting team in recent weeks. "It's normally Luuk's so it was a little loose around my arm," he continued afterwards with a wink. "Before the match I saw a c't behind my name. I didn't expect that, but of course this is something beautiful. In youth I was captain once. At the young national team as well."

Atmosphere
While Ramselaar was being interviewed, several children danced around him. "As you can see the atmosphere was fine tonight. A nice evening and nice that we won this way. Like me, the guys who were in action tonight play a little less, it's nice to be able to make ninety minutes then."
