    Deserved victory PSV O13

PSV O13 recorded another deserved victory on Saturday, this time it was JVOZ O13 from Vlissingen that had to leave the points in Eindhoven. Despite not playing well today, PSV managed to win easily. The score could have been higher if they had been more careful with the chances. Trainer Tim Wolf was not completely satisfied with the game, but he was satisfied with the effort and commitment the players showed. But with a 3-0 win, the players have a good start to the Easter weekend.

PSV got off to an early lead. In the second minute it was Tim van de Heuvel, who was sent into the deep. Tim was clearly faster than the defenders from Vlissingen, so he found himself alone in front of the goalkeeper and with a lot of calmness and precision Tim slid the ball past the goalkeeper. A nice start of the match for PSV. PSV did not manage to score more in that first half, but there were certainly chances. Michon Roelofs even had two hundred percent chances, but Michon's sights were not quite sharp today and he managed to get them wide of the goal. The back line was good today, JVOZ played well but were not dangerous in the first half.

At halftime, the players were warned by the coach that JVOZ still had faith in a good outcome, after all, the margin was small. With one breakout, things could get difficult. But the defense again did not give away a chance in the second half. PSV did have a few big chances, for example Reda El Melliani got the ball into the side netting and Enzo Geerts did not manage to shoot the ball well. He wanted to do it too nicely with the outside of his boot. After O12 player Raf van de Riet entered the field, some good crosses came from his foot. The first cross fell perfectly at the far post, Rayan Statty had come in well and managed to tap the ball in with control. A few minutes later another perfect cross from Raf, now it was Tim who worked the ball in: 3-0. PSV continued to threaten but the score was not increased. Despite the missed chances a good result.

Next weekend no league football for the O13, but a big International tournament in Germany. Despite the personnel problems there at the moment, they will also go there to perform well. Good luck boys.
