Saturday, August 30, 2014 the first league match was scheduled.
At the Herdgang the opponent was Willem II.
In the first half, PSV was the superior side but could not express that in clear-cut chances. Nevertheless, PSV took the lead. In the 33rd minute a corner taken by Mathias Bonde was put into his own goal by a Willem II player.
60 seconds later Joey Konings doubled the lead. After a throw-in by Mathias Bonde, Joey Konings turned away from his opponent and shot the ball into the far corner.

In the second half, the picture was the same. PSV was the better team but could not express that in chances.
Willem II was particularly dangerous via dead ball moments.
Halfway through the 2nd half PSV decided the game. In the 60th min Jaell Hattu was able to head a Steven Theunissen cross through to free Joey Konings. From close range he shot the ball directly into the goal.
A deserved victory and a good start to the season.
Next week PSV O.17 will play an away game in Rotterdam against Sparta O.17.
