  1. Match report

One Saturday is not the other and one away game is not the other away game. Lovely football weather. And an opponent who is a newcomer playing in the premier league. So watch out. We start the match with concentration (we have been different before) and after 4 minutes we get a good chance through Anthony but his header splashes on the crossbar. Then it was a moderate game of football in which we were on top and Fc Den Bosch did not appear too often in our half. After 19 minutes a good action by Elvio but the goalkeeper stops the ball. But we are getting better at our game and it doesn't take long before in the 24 minute it is Mohamed Rayhi who finishes a nice solo with a hard shot and brings the score to 0 - 1. Even our physio was involved in the action that preceded this by quickly putting the ball back into play in the style of a Swedish ball boy. (He will get the tour of the hotel later.) By increasing the pressure more and more, it is inevitable that more goals will be scored. And so we call on Tufan as he takes a free kick to bang the ball truly magisterially over the wall into the crossbar, out of reach of the goalkeeper, for the fourth time this season. A world goal. And the half-time score is 0 - 2.
After the break we have to be on our guard because the opponent still smells a chance at this score (the coach can say it so much nicer in the dressing room) and we start the second half sharp. And after exactly four minutes in the second half it is a brilliant pass from Menno that is also taken sublimely by Thomas and he taps the 0 - 3 against the net in a controlled way. The opponent is now really ripe to be beaten for good but a chance for another goal is unfortunately not taken because the goalkeeper manages to stop the awarded penalty kick well. (He does get injured during this save and has to drop out a little later). The match is slowly coming to an end, but Fc Den Bosch still manage to score 1 - 3 from a penalty kick just before the end, and a little later the referee can close the match.
Because of this result and the other results on the other fields, we are back in the race for the top spot.
We would like to wish a speedy recovery to Burak who suffered a rather serious injury in a very unpleasant way. Burak good luck and hopefully we will see you soon at the Herdgang.
And so you see that after last week's lows we started the climb up again and it is true that without lows you cannot enjoy the peaks.
    Until next week.
