    The report

After last Tuesday's loss against Ajax, Saturday's game against ADO Den Haag was scheduled.

PSV started the match well, which resulted in a number of chances. In the 16th minute, it was Sekou Sidibe who shot just wide. A couple of subsequent crosses were just too hard for PSV striker Yorbe Vertessen. In the 30th minute it finally hit the target. A nice attack, set up by Mohamed Ihattaren and Sidibe, ended up with Nigel Thomas, who shot the deserved 0-1 at the far post. Just before half-time, Sidibe came close to scoring the 0-2, but his shot hit the bar. We rested with a deserved lead.

In the second half, Van Nistelrooy had to make a quick substitution, as Thomas had to leave the field injured in the 52nd minute. His replacement Oliver Horvath gets a nice chance in the 57th minute, only his shot goes just wide. The game was 58 minutes old when Vertessen went off alone to the goalkeeper and passed the ball to Sidibe. This one shoots the 0-2 without any problems. After that goal, PSV lost it for a while and ADO scored the deserved tying goal in the 63rd minute: 1-2 . The home club then goes hunting for the equalizer. But the PSV defense gave nothing away. In the 82nd minute Horvarth was sent deep, and eye to eye with the ADO goalkeeper he hit the post. Fortunately, he was able to make it 1-3 on the rebound. After a good preparation by Gregory Kuisch in the 90th minute, Vertessen made it 1-4. The PSV striker was played well by Kuisch on the edge of the penalty area and was able to shoot the ball in.

The next match is Wednesday, Oct. 3. Then Ruud van Nistelrooy's boys will play Internazionale for the UEFA Youth League. At 14.00 is then the kickoff at the Herdgang.

    Composition PSV:
Delanghe, Kuisch, Daverveld, Zeegers, Vos, Oosterbrink, Sidibe, Timan, Vertessen, Ihattaren (61, Van Den Berg) and Thomas (52, Horvath)
