Today we played at home against Helmond Sport o12. With last week's good game still in our minds, we had every confidence to win today. In our league we play three 25-minute halves, as we did today.

Once again we started the match very strongly. We got some chances and were in control. It was waiting for a goal. In the 10th minute we scored. Heritier was free in front of the goalie and stayed cool. 1-0. In the first half, Helmond Sport was not dangerous. Our psv U21 players exuded confidence and played with guts. Mohamed-Amine Ihattaren popped at goal around the sixteen meters, the goalkeeper turned it but could not clip it. Heritier took advantage of this and simply tapped in the 2-0.
In the second half we kept the advantage but Helmond got better in the game. We had a few more opportunities but no goals were scored in this half.
In the last 25 minutes we had to try to hold on and increase the score so the game was played. But soon Helmond Sport scored the 2-1. The tension was back. Fortunately the ball was going around nicely, but we just didn't score the liberating 3-1. So after 75 minutes of football, we won 2-1.

We played very well today, especially in the first half. Unfortunately we were not sharp in our finishing at times, so it was only 2-1. Next week we play at home at 9:30 against Fortuna Sittard.
