Match report:
Finally PSV was complete for the first time this season. PSV was lord and master against Fortuna. After a good start with an early opening goal, PSV sank into sloppy play with - nevertheless - many goal chances. Fortuna barely got over the halfway line and thus limited the damage somewhat until halftime.
If Fortuna still had ambitions at halftime, those ambitions were already gone 5 minutes after halftime. Namely after the 2nd goal PSV "played" with Fortuna. One attack after another surged towards the Fortuna goal and eventually the score evened out to a simple 5-0 victory. And with that, PSV was still very sweet to Fortuna. In this match, a long-injured player also made his return and immediately graced his appearance with a goal. Meanwhile the gap - with new frontrunner MVV D1 - is only 2 points. Next week the always tricky NAC awaits PSV in Breda.
