PSV gets to visit Willem II. A game before the winter break where in a direct confrontation it was about the number one spot in the league. After all, both teams had not lost a single point, with PSV having a slightly better goal average. From the kickoff, a fierce Willem II was on display. Due to Willem II's fierceness, PSV had little opportunity to play football. Despite the better of Willem II's play, it was Endy who scored the 1-0 from a neat pass from Clint. Shortly after, Willem II's Branco scored the 1-1 from a free kick from about 25 yards out. PSV continued to struggle to draw the game to itself. In the second half, PSV showed a slight improvement. It played more football in Willem II's half but could not really make a fist. Despite good goalkeeping by Jeroen, PSV could not prevent Willem II from deservedly scoring the 1-2. There was no more in it today, a moment to learn from.
Boys, Trainers and Supervisors, too bad !!! On to the next battle.........
