PSV O13 hits double digits again

After a midweek cup victory over FC Utrecht in, PSV O13 achieved another resounding victory. The team won no less than 10-1 against FC Twente.

Within five minutes of play, PSV was already on a roll. Sami Bouhoudane quickly opened the scoring and two minutes later Isaï Middag was the end of a beautiful attack. Via Rens Boon and Gino Verhulst, the Eindhoven players extended their lead to 4-0 within fifteen minutes. Yet PSV slackened after this strong opening phase. The team found it harder to keep the ball in the team and made unnecessary mistakes. Twente managed to take advantage of this once, but again Isaï Middag quickly put things in order by responding attentively to a rebound. Both teams went into the break with a 5-1 score.

In the second half, PSV started quietly, but after ten minutes the team started hunting for more goals. They came quickly: Abdullah Hekmat reacted well to a corner and Joep Willems beat the goalkeeper with a lob from the edge of the penalty area. Yalen Meulendijks (header) also made a contribution and Isaï Middag completed his hat-trick by valuing a cross from Imran Yachou. The final chord was for Joep Willems, who put 10-1 on the scoreboard with a header.

So another big win for PSV O13, which managed to put ten goals on the board despite a difficult phase in the first half. Next Saturday the team will visit Feyenoord, the match at Varkenoord starts at 10:00 am.
