Last Saturday, PSV O.17 played the home match against Vitesse O.17.
After an initial exploratory phase, the game was an even match. There was a lot of fight but hardly any chances.
PSV took a 1-0 lead in the 30th min. Dante Rigo shot an incoming free kick directly into the far corner.
Half-time score 1-0.
Vitesse soon equalized in the 2nd half. In the 46th min the striker of Vitesse was able to shoot in a rebound from close range 1-1.
10 minutes later, PSV took the lead again. It was Matthias Verreth who finished off a nice cross from Karim Bannani. His effort disappeared into the goal via the underside of the crossbar, 2-1.
Matthias Verreth also made it 3-1 in the 62nd min. After good pressure he got to the ball before the goalkeeper.
PSV was defensively very strong in this match. In the last 10 minutes PSV still had some opportunities but they were not exploited anymore.
Final score 3-1.
Next Tuesday the next league match is scheduled. PSV O.17 plays against AZ O.17.
