Last Saturday, PSV O.17 played the away match against FC Utrecht O.17.
On a badly playable field, good football was hardly possible. Often the long ball was used and many duels were fought.
In the first half both teams were evenly matched. PSV was close to scoring the opening goal.
Dante Rigo shot a free kick from long distance at the top of the crossbar.

In the second half, PSV took the lead after 8 minutes.
After a good push by Joey Konings he was able to shoot the ball into the goal from close range.
PSV had a slight advantage. Matthias Verreth was close to a goal but with a good save the FC Utrecht goalkeeper prevented the 0-2.
In the 72nd min FC Utrecht made the equalizer. 1-1
Both teams went for the win but no more goals were scored.

Next Saturday PSV O.17 plays the home match against Sparta O.17.
