At a fresh but sunny De Herdgang sports complex, PSV got off to an energetic start. This resulted in a shot on the crossbar as early as the fifth minute. A few minutes later the score was opened by
Beslan. He headed a corner into the goal (1-0). Two minutes later a nice cross was headed in by Thijs (2-0). PSV played strong and Nuenen was pushed back completely. In the 24th minute a PSV corner was cleared at the feet of Dennis. His shot was changed by a Nuenen player and the goalkeeper had no chance (3-0). In the 28th minute, a distance shot was turned away by the crossbar. Shurandy reacted attentively and tapped the ball in (4-0). This was also the halftime score. PSV played a very strong first half with many nice combinations.

The second half started where the first half had ended. A quick attack resulted in a tight cross. Quinn shot the ball out of
into the goal (5-0). A few minutes later, PSV scored again from a corner. At first the ball hit the crossbar but in the rebound Quinn tapped in (6-0). Smooth attacking play was the basis of the next goal. In the 43rd minute, a nice cross by Quinn from the sixteen-meter area was shot in tight (7-0). Quinn scored a flawless hat trick. In the 49th minute Nuenen did something back. Bad defending by PSV was punished by a Nuenen player with a nice lob over the goalkeeper (7-1). PSV's passing became inaccurate in the last ten minutes of the match. Nevertheless, one more goal was scored.
A long ball behind the Nuenen defense was worked by Quinn with a nice lob behind the Nuenen goalie (8-1). This was also the final score.

Again a big win for PSV that came about through smooth combination football.
