PSV D1 ended the away match against FC Den Bosch with an unexpected 1-0 defeat. PSV started this match strongly and FC Den Bosch had their backs against the wall from the kickoff. After 10 minutes Aaron Schnorrenberg bypassed his opponent, laid back well to Olivier Rommens who in turn played Michael Maria well. Michael's powerful shot unfortunately for PSV ended next to the chance-less FC Den Bosch goalkeeper on the post. FC Den Bosch lurked on the counter with two strikers and after 15 minutes of play they got a free kick 20 meters from the goal. The free kick was aimed at the bar by the last man of FC Den Bosch above goalkeeper Zeus de la Paz, the rebounding ball was again shot against the underside of the bar, after which the rebounding ball was ricocheted into the net by FC Den Bosch. PSV picked up the thread after this and several 100% chances were created, which unfortunately were missed.
After half time PSV's play dropped and FC Den Bosch became more and more dangerous on the counter. Thanks to a couple of good saves by Daan Bollen this did not result in success for the FC Den Bosch, who got better and better in the match. PSV had one more chance for the equalizer, but the good FC Den Bosch goalkeeper managed to turn away Michael Maria's effort thanks to an excellent save. Without points and with a huge hangover, our boys left the field disappointed.
