  1. Match report

A tough week with games against Feyenoord, AZ and Heerenveen within eight days. Today Heerenveen and the counter is still at zero points in this week, so we know what to do. On a beautiful late summer's day, the spectators get to see an entertaining match with a high tempo and with goals on the line. Afterwards (and Heerenveen will disagree) the victory is deservedly for PSV. The match has a high tempo and some chances and for both sides. Before halftime, these chances are not exploited. We will rest with 0 - 0.
After halftime there are more chances and also Heerenveen manages to find the way to our goalkeeper. The Icelandic No. 10 managed to slalom through our lines a couple of times, but fortunately he was not able to cash in on the deserved reward for his slalom. After almost an hour of play steven found Boris with a nice deep pass and he managed to hit the ball into the net. 1 - 0. We could not enjoy the game for long because within five minutes Heerenveen equalized with a free kick. We had to start all over again. And so we did. Ryan had an inspiration and after a nice solo he put the ball in the goal. Now Heerenveen had to crawl out of their shell and there was space on the pitch for us.
We took advantage and in the seventieth minute it was Ryan again who started a solo and now with the help of the Heerenveen defender (who gave the final touch) he lifted the score to 3 - 1. Heerenveen does not give in yet but we manage to hold this score until the end. A tough week and three times a 3 - 1 final score. Unfortunately only three points over these three games but we remain in contention for the first eight places before the winter break. Next week to Amsterdam and then we can get back to work. But moving forward as youth we have the future and so on to the Future.
    Good luck and goodbye.
