Once upon a time (this is how all fairy tales begin) in a distant city there was a very beautiful Castle. Today we will go to the Castle and there we will fight the inhabitants of this Castle.
But ahead. This is how a fairy tale begins.
Today it is reality. After an opening weekend on a golf course to get all noses in the same direction and to start the league fit, we travel to Rotterdam.
The new format of the league is a reality this season. Before the winter break we play a round against all the teams and then the rankings are made to see if you get into the champion's pool.
A spot in the top eight is now the first goal. And the first bump lies at the Kasteel in Rotterdam.
We start the match well and are the superior side. Especially in the first half hour, what we show is really very good. This is also reflected in scoring goals. And what goals.
Every top corner is visited by the ball. A bow ball by Dani, a solo by Steven and a bang by Arnaut. Afterwards, they could not agree on which was really the most beautiful goal. After the ruist, Dani stepped up and scored again with a header. This one was also great. A victory with these figures at Sparta has been a long time ago. A dream start. But a dream must not burst and a fairytale must not go out like a candle. After the good last season, we want to compete for the prizes again this year. But we are now in the midst of a new season and looking ahead.
Next weekend to Kortrijk for the meeting with the Belgian clubs Kortrijk and Charleroi.
