This practice match was played in three 20-minute periods.

In the second minute, PSV immediately had the first opportunity to score. A nice cross ball from Beslan was shot just wide by Quinn. PSV kept Swindon Town under pressure and in the 8th minute the lead came. A cross from Thijs, after a cross from Mathijs, came into the feet of Quinn. Quinn cut out a player and shot the ball high into the goal, 1-0. PSV had the upper hand more and more and in the 20th minute the lead was extended. A corner was headed in by Shurandy. The ball hit the bar via the goalkeeper. Thijs reacted alertly and headed the ball in, 2-0.

In the second period, PSV maintained the lead. However, not many chances were created. Again a corner was scored from a corner. In the 36th minute, a long corner by Dani was headed in by Shurandy, 3-0.

In the third period, Swindon Town's resistance was broken. This provided PSV with several chances. In the 42nd minute, a deep ball from Yorbe reached Quinn. He laid the ball wide and Dani shot the 4-0. A few minutes later there was another nice attack by PSV. However, the ball was shot wide. In the 55th minute there was a foul on Beslan in the penalty area. The rightly awarded penalty kick was shot in by Damian, 5-0. The last exploit came from Swindon Town. However, the ball was shot against the crossbar by the Swindon Town player. The final score was therefore 5-0.
