After the disappointing and in my opinion undeserved defeat in Madrid today the trip to the homeland of our head of training Art. Unfortunately he was just not in time (with valid reason by the way) to welcome us on arrival by bus but well before the start he was there. We knew what we had to do today. Nothing less than a victory. And so we started. Ball possession is good, putting pressure okay, winning duels fine and now to score. After half an hour a quick attack on the right, Jordan crossed and Joell got in front of his defender and the 0-1 was in the net.
But we want more. After forty minutes a foul on Matthias and Dante curls the awarded free kick brilliantly over the wall out of reach of the goalkeeper into the net. So those are in and now we can rest. Let's dot the i's and get back to work. We are better than PEC, although it has to be said that they are a team that can play nice ball and allow football, and we also want to score one more goal if only for the statistics and for the goal difference. After an hour we put an attack on the (artificial) mat over many drives and of eye-catching quality and it is Matthias who passes to Justin and he scores the 0-3. So Book close.
Professionally we play out the match and take the points on the bus from the increasingly foggy zwolle. Points deservedly earned. Now on to Wednesday to also take three points against ADO so that the ranking again gives a better picture of our qualities.
Good luck guys and see you Wednesday.
Bye.
