The cup match against last season's cup winner. NAC also clearly had a different selection than they won the cup with last year. The start was somewhat messy and neither team really got into good football. It was even NAC that took a 1 - 0 lead due to poor defending from our side. After that we had more ball possession but it wasn't really up to par. In the last five minutes before half time we did get the lead we deserved, but it took two penalties. Both times it was Ruben who put the ball into the net without a hitch. After the break it was the same picture. Much ball possession for PSV and some dangerous outbursts by NAC. About ten minutes after half time were enough to make the difference and again Ruben and Elvio (after a brilliant cross from Alexander) brought the score to 1 - 4. In the last ten minutes Ruben and Joshua scored again. Joshua's goal was of separate class, he started a solo on the center line and stops when the ball is in the net.
So a regular, deserved and high victory takes us into the next round where we will meet ADO A1 as our opponent. Good luck in advance.
