PSV struggled Saturday in the home match against NAC. Despite the greater resistance than given so far in league games and the first goal to be conceded this season, PSV again showed they have a lot of scoring ability with a big role this week for Yasin, who had a big part in the win with 2 fantastic goals.
Already in the 7th minute, Yasin scored the opening goal, by curling a free kick left outside the penalty area with speed and precision directly into the far corner. NAC then became dangerous a number of times in the first half, albeit mainly from free kicks and distance shots after which a number of times there was a scrimmage in front of Lucas' goal in which he saved well on a shot from close range. PSV did not create any real chances in the first half.
At the start of the second half, NAC almost profited from PSV losing the ball in midfield, which led to a quick counterattack in front of the PSV goal but again Lucas thwarted the attacker, but in the 56th minute Yasin's 2nd goal of the game came. During an attack he got the ball on the right around the 16 of NAC, and suddenly shot out of the turn at the Breda goal, where the ball disappeared very nicely into the far left upper corner. A great goal with which PSV seemed to have reached a safe margin.
NAC went on the attack from then on, which resulted in a goal not long after. In the 60th minute, the guests took advantage of a misunderstanding in PSV's midfield, which eventually led to the tying goal, 2-1. NAC smelled Eindhoven blood and also became dangerous in the last 20 minutes, but took a lot of risks from which PSV was able to take advantage and eventually decide the match definitively by, although that eventually happened only in injury time. NAC found themselves with 10 players in front of the ball on PSV's half of the pitch, which captured the ball in a duel, after which Sekou and 2 more PSV players were able to cross NAC's entire completely free play area towards the goal after a cross from Joop. With 3 players in front of the goal, Sekou chose an individual action to outplay the NAC goalkeeper and score. He outmaneuvered the goalkeeper twice and then calmly slid the ball into the abandoned goal with his left, making the 3-1 final score.
Another full win for the O16. Next week PSV play the away game against number 3 on the league table Feyenoord.
