PSV started well and in the sixth minute, post and crossbar prevented an early lead for PSV. PSV continued to press and this resulted in the deserved lead in the 16th minute after an assist from Nigel to Jeremy. Jeremy shot in from the edge of the penalty area, 0-1. PSV was clearly the superior side and the home club tried to outplay PSV's defense with sporadic breakdowns. It remained 0-1 for a long time, but in the 31st minute PSV managed to double the lead. A free kick ended up with Niek. His cross was headed in by Nigel, 0-2. With this score both teams went to rest.

From the start of the second half, PSV forced the home team into defense. This resulted in many goals. In the 37th minute Jayden headed in the 0-3 and two minutes later Ian tapped in the 0-4. In the 45th minute, a PSV attack was initially turned away. The ball eventually got to Jeremy who shot into the short corner, 0-5. Two minutes later misfiring by the home club was punished by Jayden, 0-6. In the 58th minute, a cross from Thomas was shot in by Ian, 0-7. In the last ten minutes of the game Ian and Jayden scored, making the final score 0-9.

PSV could return home with three points, but not before the parked cars blocking the entrance to the FC Dordrecht sports park had been removed after several hours.
