PSV D2 - RKVVO D1
Where shall I start? With the three goals that fell within five minutes in the first half, with the bunch of flowers that the sporty RKVVO offered us because of the championship, with the fact that the result of this match no longer mattered at all, with the fact that the goalkeepers Arne and Pepijn only had to deal with return balls or with the goals of the goal scorers? With that, everything has already been said, but I will go into a little more detail.
In this sporting encounter, we got to see a game for about 15 minutes, then it was sit out. The goals rolled in steadily as the drizzle came down from the sky.
As often happens, the opposing team, encouraged by a large crowd of fans, took to the field in good spirits. Once three goals against were scored, the shoulders slumped and commitment waned. The tension that had existed for a while fell away completely.
The PSV goal scoring machine turned on and before halftime the counter was 4-0. In the second half there was a small revival for RKVVO as PSV had to find each other again due to player changes, but we were saved from any real danger in front of goal. Soon PSV combined and scored like never before. The counter once again, as of old, stopped above ten! Our boys showed solid defensive and attacking work in this match, and may rightly call themselves champions, although trainer Bastiaan, as befits a trainer, will still see areas for improvement.
