Last Saturday, PSV O.17 played the away game against Volendam O.17.
PSV started the game strongly and quickly took the lead. After a nice deep pass from Roel van Linschoten Mathias Bonde lobbed the ball directly over the goalkeeper.
Four minutes later the score was level again. A long-distance shot made it 1-1.
In the 38th minute PSV got a penalty. Joey Konings got behind the ball and shot the 1-2.
The score at halftime was 1-2.
In the 2nd half Volendam equalized after 2 minutes. This time through a penalty.
After this equalizer Mike van den Meulenhof kept PSV in the match with some great saves.
From the 62nd minute on, PSV was very effective. PSV scored 3 times in 5 minutes.
The 2-3 was scored by Karim Bannani. After a cross from Amar Catic, Karim headed the ball diagonally over the goalkeeper into the far corner.
Joey Konings signed for the 2-4 with a distance shot.
And it was Amar Catic who scored 2-5 after a cross from Leandro Fernandes.
Final score 2-5
Next week PSV O.17 plays a home match against VVV/Helmond Sport O.17.
