Last Saturday, PSV O.17 played the away match against Sparta O.17.
Sparta had the first chance but Lasse Mikkelsen prevented a goal with a clever save.
As the first half progressed PSV got better into the game. PSV also got a few opportunities but their sights were not (yet) set.
In the 31st minute, PSV took a 0-1 lead. Gianluca Scamacca played himself free and shot from 20 meters.
PSV could not enjoy the lead for long. Two minutes later Sparta equalized. A long-distance shot from 25 meters flew unstoppable into the top corner.
Half-time score 1-1.
In the second half there were chances on both sides. Sparta was close to scoring 2-1 but the effort hit the bar. PSV also had good chances to score but post, crossbar and the goalkeeper stood in the way.
Final score 1-1.
