Drastic end for PSV O17

At the same time that a few hundred kilometers away FC Groningen O17 crowned themselves champions, we walked towards the dressing room with a nasty 4-1 defeat against AZ. After a noisy season, we closed as it had been throughout the championship pool. There were eleven players on the field, but there was no team. There was still some hope when Daniëls made it 1-1, but soon this score was wiped off the board again.

This season was all just off. After finishing third in the regular league before the winter break, everything went differently in the championship pool. Just not, just too late, just not fast enough, not enough aggressiveness. The league is over and we can train for a few more weeks with an eye on our new team.
