    PSV gives up wide lead

Because things are not always going well for PSV O14, they have to hunt for the necessary points in the last matches of the year. This to be able to play in the highest league after the winter break. Feyenoord visited Eindhoven today and everyone was convinced that the points would stay in Eindhoven. After a 3-0 halftime score it looked like it was going to happen, but unfortunately Feyenoord also scored three times in the second half, and the points were shared fraternally.

PSV started the match well, everything was as it should be in the first half. Good football, a lot of fight and the will to really go for the three points. This good start resulted in the opening goal for PSV as early as thesixth minute. Central defender Wessel Kuhn sneaked to thefar post, where he headed a free kick taken by Raf van de Riet perfectly in. With the 1-0 lead, PSV continued to play good football, as just one minute later it was Onesime Zimuangana who came one-on-one with the Feyenoord goalkeeper. However, the goalkeeper managed to make a fine save. In the tenth minute the second goal for PSV. After Eus Waayers was brought down by the Rotterdam goalkeeper, Nicolas Verkooijen scored the penalty. In the 21st minute the most beautiful goal of the day. From a scrimmage in front of the Feyenoord goal Feyenoord managed to clear the ball, Nicolas got the ball on his instep about twenty meters in front of the goal. 3-0 and in the first half another chance for Wessel who is unlucky that the ball hits the bar.

In the second half a different Feyenoord, they try to put PSV under pressure with long balls. Instead of PSV trying to keep playing football, they go along too much with the style of play of the Rotterdammers, and also try to do it with long balls. In the 41st minute, PSV loses the ball in midfield, Feyenoord switches very quickly and manages to score the 3-1. A few minutes later it is Eus who is just too late at a cross from Onesime. Jordy Bawauh also headed the ball onto the underside of the crossbar, thus failing to score the liberating goal for PSV. At the moment PSV seems to regain control of the match, the Rotterdammers manage to score again. Now the match is wide open and both teams are hunting for more. It is Feyenoord that is the luckiest and scores the equalizer two minutes before time, again things are not looking good at the back for PSV.

For the second week in a row, PSV give away a good lead. Therefore, in the upcoming games against Vitesse and Sparta they will have to go for a win to stay in this league.
