PSV O13 books win after sensational comeback

In the top match against Feyenoord, PSV O13 recorded another victory. The team trailed 0-2 with fifteen minutes to go, but managed to win 4-3. The first half was just underway when PSV had to deal with a setback. A Feyenoord free kick was badly handled, after which the striker of the Rotterdammers kicked the ball inside. PSV did not let this put them off the pace and went in search of a quick equalizer. Isaï Middag went close, Boet Mulders saw his attempt stopped by the keeper and Rodin Oesterholt was unlucky to see his effort hit the cross. At the back, the Eindhoven defense gave little away and although PSV was the superior side, they were still 0-1 down after 35 minutes.

Like the first half, PSV did not start the second as well. A Feyenoord midfielder was allowed to run through and scored the 0-2 from 30 meters out. PSV was off balance for a while and struggled to create any chances, but fifteen minutes before the end of the second half the team scored the deserved tying goal. A shot by Sami Bouhoudane was blocked, after which the ball fell at the feet of Dichano Bulo. The young right-winger remained calm and tapped the ball under the Feyenoord goalkeeper. PSV smelled that there was more to come and soon after the equalizer was scored. A fantastic cross from Gino Verhulst fell between the central defenders and Sami Bouhoudane headed in with a powerful header. PSV went on the hunt for more and soon got it. Isaï Middag found Dichano Bulo with a fine pass. The striker rushed past his opponent and eye-to-eye with the goalkeeper he placed the ball in the far corner. The joy of the Eindhoven players was great, as they went from 0-2 to 3-2 in five minutes. Just before time, Rens Boon decided the game with a fourth Eindhoven goal. The left-back got the ball in midfield, passed two opponents and shot the ball into the far corner. Immediately after the 4-3, a free kick headed in by a Rotterdam striker, the referee ended the match. Despite falling behind 0-2 unnecessarily, PSV O13 did not let their heads drop and managed to turn the game around.

On Tuesday the team plays an exhibition match against FC Den Bosch (start 17:30), after which Vitesse visits PSV Campus De Herdgang on December 7. Kickoff for this match is at 11:00 am.
