    The Report

After weeks of tournaments and friendlies, today starts the league for PSV O13. The O13 competition is divided into two leagues, there is a competition between the O13 teams from the South and West of the Netherlands. And a competition for the North and East of the country. The champions of these two competitions will play a match against each other for the championship of the Netherlands at the end of the season. FC Den Bosch is the opponent today at the Herdgang. As usual, the O13 of PSV plays their matches on pitch 1. A grass pitch that many a stadium could envy.

In the 5th minute, it looks like the well-started PSV is going to take a lead. From a corner it is Renzo Tytens who gets a free shooting opportunity from about ten meters. But unfortunately he gets the ball slightly wrong on the boot, so the ball goes over. A few minutes later Michon Roelofs gets to try with a free kick from 30 meters. But this one goes into the hands of the goalkeeper. PSV continues to have the better of the game in the first half. But despite good chances they fail to score. FC Den Bosch is dangerous twice from a corner. But both times the ball is taken away before the line by the PSV defenders. So the teams rest with a 0-0 score on the scoreboard.

After halftime, PSV continued to dominate the game, but again struggled with the well-grouped play of the Boschers. There are still chances for PSV, but the final phase is often too impure to speak of really big chances. Although Arthur Piedfort came close to scoring a goal with his head. But also this ball goes a meter beside the goal. So the score remains the same as it started, 0-0. It was nice that two players who said goodbye to the PSV training, now play at FC Den Bosch, and clearly showed that they can find their place there. Next week PSV has an away match against the always difficult Willem II.

Yet this match the hand of coach Tim Wolf was again evident. Offensive football. Unfortunately no victory today, but the consistency and automatisms are starting to show.
