Seven-goal win for PSV O16
PSV visited number last FC Dordrecht on Saturday. After their first team already emphatically left all points behind in Eindhoven on Friday (8-1 loss at Eindhoven), the O16 met the same fate on Saturday. The expected difference in strength, the guests did not score a single point so far, also showed in the match. In which PSV ran out to 7-1 without much resistance.
In the eleventh minute, PSV could cheer for the first time when Milan shot in a penalty kick after a handball. Twenty minutes later, defender Jesse headed in the 2-0 after a messy situation in the penalty area, and a minute before halftime it was Milan again who worked the ball in on a pass from Mylian: 3-0.
In the second half, PSV was able to play freely and steadily increased its lead. Five minutes after halftime, substitute Naïm Matoug took a dropped ball on the edge of the penalty area to his slipper and shot beautifully to make it 4-0. In the 53rd minute, Dordrecht managed to get close to Aron's goal in a sparse counterattack, and even poked the 4-1 into the far corner. Which showed once again that every moment of slackness can mean a goal even against a lesser opponent. PSV picked it up well again, however, and in the 57th minute Mo a corner from the left was on the neck of Naïm, who was ready at the far post to tap in his second of the afternoon: 5-1. The best of the afternoon, however, came in the name of substitute Jaivy. In the 66th minute, after a free for PSV, the ball fell at the feet of the striker on the edge of the penalty area. He did not think twice and took the ball full on his slipper: 6-1. The final chord came courtesy of Naïm. A good preparatory action by Jasper was transformed in the penalty area by a failed shot by Jaivy into a fine cross, which Naïm inimitably worked into the far corner of the goal with the outside of his shoe. His third of the day, PSV's seventh.
An expected, but equally deserved victory. PSV plays next week at 11:30 a.m. at home against ADO Den Haag.
