    The report

On Saturday the away match against NEC from Nijmegen was scheduled. Nijmegen are the joint leaders of the league together with Ajax. PSV started the match strongly. In the third minute, the NEC goalkeeper had to pull out all the stops to turn a free kick by Nigel Thomas. In the twelfth minute Noni Madueke's shot was denied by the NEC goalkeeper, but PSV striker Djenairo Daniëls was quick to tap the ball in. PSV deservedly took the lead. Due to sloppy ball loss in the 20th minute, NEC's outfielder on the right had the opportunity to pass the ball. This cross accidentally hit the arm of a PSV defender. The referee, however, saw this as a penalty kick and so the ball was on the spot. The effort was almost stopped by Maxime Delanghe, but unfortunately it became a goal. And so it was unexpectedly equal. In the 32nd minute it was Damian Timan, who again hit the post after a good action by Madueke. With an equal score we also went to rest.

The second half did not bring PSV what we had hoped for. Hardly any chances were created and NEC didn't have to, they thought a draw was a good result. And could thus keep the Eindhoveners behind them in the standings.

The next game is Saturday, March 2, when a practice match will be played at home at 2 p.m. against Go Ahead Eagels O19.
