The report

At a time when we play very few games because of other commitments and because of the weather, we went to Amsterdam on Saturday to play a topper there. If we still want to play a small role of significance, the points had to be taken back to Eindhoven today in the players' bus.

It was a messy match with many incorrect passes and unnecessary ball loss. In the photo the distinction between Ajax's home shirt and our gray away shirt was clearly visible. In reality, it was not visible at all. So often the ball was just handed to another player who was also wearing a different shirt. Then it becomes difficult to set up good attacks, because before you were well on your way the ball was handed back to you and you had to leave.

After just over a quarter of an hour of play, PSV found themselves behind. The number 11 of the Amsterdammers shot the ball in, after the defense intervened too late. Ten minutes later the team did get the opportunity for a good attack. A good cross came via the right side to Antonisse. And he headed the equalizer in, putting the 1-1 halftime score on the board.

After halftime, PSV wanted to go full for the three points, as it felt there was definitely more in it than a point. But after nine minutes the goal fell on the other side. The Ajax player came through on the left side and shot the ball himself. After that we kept playing football and found each other, but unfortunately the chances were not taken. And so we went into the bus without any points.
