    The report

On Saturday Feyenoord O14 were guests at the Herdgang, for the league clash against PSV O14. PSV had yet to lose any points in the league and wanted to keep it that way. A setback was that three players were injured. But this offers opportunities for other players to earn their places back. Still, it was Feyenoord that was brighter and sharper than PSV today. PSV's lack of sharpness allowed Feyenoord to run out to a 2-5 victory.

PSV got the first big chance of the match, in the 9th minute it was Tim van de Heuvel, who crossed the ball perfectly, Jason van Duiven came a centimeter short to head the ball in. In the 19th minute Feyenoord opened the scoring, the PSVers put far too little pressure on the ball, making it very easy for the Rotterdammers to run through to Bart Hamers' goal and score. You would say PSV learned from this and will be shorter and fiercer on top, but this was not the case. PSV was not fierce enough and gave away far too much space to Feyenoord. This allowed Feyenoord to run away to a 0-3 lead before halftime.

After halftime, PSV was a little brighter in the duels. But not bright enough to make things really difficult for Feyenoord. PSV managed to score in the 44th minute. Michon Roelofs headed the ball in after a cross from Renzo Tytens. For a moment it looked like PSV were going to push on, but in the 50th minute they let everything go and the Rotterdammers were able to score again far too easily. Khaled Rhazak managed to score from a free kick from Emir Bars. As PSV went in search of another goal, everything was left open at the back and Feyenoord managed to score 2-5. Despite the loss, it was an instructive game of football for the boys. They now know not to give away space in such matches, because the opponent can easily take advantage of that and then you get the lid on your nose. But enough points for the trainers to work on this week. To do better next week against FC Twente.

    Line-up PSV:
