Counter stands at 100
PSV D2 is having another season where the number of goals scored during the competition has reached 100.
Before kickoff in Tiel, the counter stood at 97. Three more and the 100th goal is in the books again. It all started differently than expected. A shot from Theole high under the crossbar unfortunately Jeroen could not turn. 1-0 for Theole, but as the Red-Whites fought in the field and pressed on the opponent's half, the equalizer could not be long away. Endy scored the 1-1 fairly quickly and the game could begin again. Yet Theole managed to pull off the trick again. 2-1. So to work. The smallest man on the field led the way and that resulted in a beautiful goal, Olivier slid the ball into the corner, 2-2. Just before half time another corner for PSV and Endy did not hesitate for a moment, 2-3. This was also the score at halftime. The second half provided a spectacle with beautiful and fast football from PSV. Jeroen M. made it 2-4, but moments later the strong and fast striker of Theole scored the tying goal 3-4 between 3 PSV players. Michael provided the final distance for Theole with two goals. A beautiful diagonal distance shot into the cross 3-5, and a shot over the goalkeeper made it 3-6. PSV's beautiful play was tested briefly by a counter goal 4-6, but it was Jeroen M. who put the final score on the board 4-7. It looked like a korfball result. It must be said, a good playing PSV made it a nice afternoon in Tiel. To crown it all, Endy scored PSV D2's 100th goal and Michael was the best man on the field.
