Last Saturday, PSV O.17 played the away match against Volendam O.17.
After a close 1st half with hardly any chances, the score at halftime was 0-0.
PSV started the 2nd half energetically. In the 43rd minute it was Kaan Tanriver who scored 0-1.
He reacted attentively after the Volendam goalkeeper failed to handle a corner.
PSV was stronger in this phase but forgot to increase the lead.
In the 60th minute it became 1-1. Via a shot that changed direction, Volendam equalized.
3 minutes later it was 2-1 for Volendam. A corner kick was badly covered and a Volendam player was completely free and unhindered to head the ball in.
PSV wanted to start a final offensive but had to continue with 10 players. Joey Konings was sent off the field by the referee.
PSV O.17 was unable to come alongside with 10 against 11.
Final score 2-1.
Tuesday, March 24, PSV O.17 plays the remaining part (40 min) of the suspended match against Ajax O.17 in Amsterdam.
Saturday, March 28, the home match against Vitesse O.17 is on the program.
