Last Saturday, PSV O.17 played the home match against AZ O.17.
PSV started the match very well.
In the 2nd minute PSV took a 1-0 lead. Through a nice attack through the right side, Dante Rigo was able to shoot the ball high into the roof of the goal on a pass from Jaëll Hattu.
More than 10 minutes later the score was doubled. Again via an attack through the right side.
Mathias Bonde crossed the ball high and Joey Konings headed the ball in diagonally.
In the 23rd minute, Dante Rigo scored the 3-0 in brilliant fashion.
After a nice pass from Joey Konings, Dante controlled the ball with his chest and without the ball touching the ground he volleyed the ball beautifully into the goal from 20 meters.
PSV was very effective.
AZ then got into the game a little better and had a few small opportunities.
But Mike van den Meulenhof was able to keep his goal clean.
Half-time score 3-0
The start of the 2nd half was identical to the 1st half.
PSV scored within 2 minutes. Mathias Bonde took a corner and it was put into his own goal at the 2nd post by an AZ player.
Joey Konings also made it 5-0 but this goal was disallowed due to offside.
5 minutes before the end of the match AZ could do something back.
4-1 was also the final score.
The next match of PSV O.17 is Tuesday, February 24 at 17.30 hrs.
PSV O.17 will play the catch-up match against Volendam O.17 in Eindhoven.
