O17 hands out victory

Under summer conditions, Saturday finally had to take three points at the home Herdgang. Under the watchful eye of many spectators, the game was far too messy. Ball touches were often uncontrolled or too hurried and the last pass was too often not clear enough. There was a lot of commitment and unfortunately this work ethic was not always rewarded. This was also not the case last Saturday. Until half time the scoreboard remained empty.

After halftime, it had to happen. An interception in midfield enabled Mylian to play in Daniëls. With a subtle heel he sent Antonisse into the depths and the number 10 finished in a controlled manner. The deserved lead was there and now it had to be harvested. PSV O17 did everything in its power and it seemed to finally take three points. But then, one minute before time, another moment of inattention: 1-1. Again the lead was given away and so again no victory.

Next Wednesday is the last league game of the season in Alkmaar against AZ and thus the last chance for three points.
