Report:
Finally some opposition again. Now in the 2nd group match of the cup competition against FC Den Bosch D1. PSV D1 played well and concentrated from the first minute, scored quickly, but forgot to extend the score and decide the match before half-time. After halftime the same picture, PSV D1 again had plenty of chances and gave nothing away at the other end. With this kind of play you can sometimes get the lid on the nose. Fortunately, PSV D1 was spared this nightmare and scored the redeeming goal just before time. That FC Den Bosch then produced a surprising but no less beautiful long-distance shot to tie the score did not detract from PSV D1's well-deserved victory.
