Monster win PSV O13-1 against Excelsior
In a one-sided match, PSV O13-1 easily defeated Excelsior. The team won 9-1 in a game that could have gone much higher.

PSV opened strongly and quickly took a 1-0 lead. From a free kick, captain Noah Fernandez managed to open the scoring beautifully. Yet not much later it became 1-1 when Excelsior punished a quick counter. PSV woke up quickly and within ten minutes had completely restored the balance on the pitch. A Tim Gilsing cross was headed into Excelsior's own goal, Liam Slaats finished off a Noah Fernandez cross and Shuryjano Cornecion scored PSV's fourth goal on a pass from Gennaro van der Sluis. PSV remained the better team and could have extended the score even further. However, Shuryjano Cornecion, Yani Miguel and Samuel Dumbili did not have their sights set on the goal. Timo Wennekes did just before half-time: the central defender cleverly extended a free kick and managed to get past the Excelsior goalkeeper again.

Also after the break, PSV went in search of more goals, and it soon found them. An assist from Shuryjano Cornecion was coolly rounded off by Gennaro van der Sluis and Shuryjano Cornecion rounded off a nice cross from Thomas Smits. PSV smelled that double digits were achievable and went hunting for it, but Yani Miguel (2x), Samuel Dumbili and Fabian Merien found the Excelsior goalkeeper in their way. Eventually Gennaro van der Sluis (free kick) and Samuel Dumbili (beautiful attack over several drives) managed to score another goal, bringing the tally to 9-1.

An excellent victory for PSV O13-1. The team created many chances and scored many goals, but also conceded a goal too easily. Next week the team plays an away game. In Nijmegen they will play NEC. The game starts at noon.
