PSV earned their first full win of the season in the home match against Roda JC, which was moved to Friday evening. At the foggy Herdgang stadium, PSV was clearly a size too big for the guests from Kerkrade, although the counter, given the number of chances created , stuck at a too low 7-0.


Characteristic of the match was that Roda had only one opportunity to get close to the PSV goal, with a hard shot into the near corner in the 36th minute, which was well parried by goalkeeper Youri. PSV countered that with a whole series of clear-cut chances. Only the 2-0 and the 4-0 came not from a good combination or a splitting pass, but from an own goal by Roda JC, respectively a nicely placed long-distance shot by Justin. Striker Joël increased his average with four goals after good preparatory actions by Amar, who stepped on the moped and put the ball sharply back to him, and by Steven and Leandro, who put him in front of the goalkeeper with well placed mirrored balls from both sides.


The 5-0 from midfielder Baggio was also particularly fine. From well outside the 16-area he was rewarded by captain Amando for his good run in the 16-area with a great ball on his necktie, only to appear in front of the goalkeeper and finish in a controlled manner.

A good match and a moral boost for the Under 16 that awaits next week's away match against Ajax.
