    The Report

PSV O13 delivered a good performance last week by finishing third at an International tournament in Spain. Major clubs such as FC Bayern Munich, Valencia and Atlético Madrid participated. But today they have to fight for the league championship again. For this match we have to travel to Maastricht, where MVV will be the opponent. The stakes are high for both teams. PSV needs the points on their way to the championship and MVV is fighting against relegation.

From the beginning it is immediately clear that PSV is the superior side. But the only problem is that the ball just won't go in. And as long as it remains 0-0, there is hope for the Limburgers who are defending stubbornly. PSV's pace is too slow to destroy MVV's defense. In the 26th minute the goal finally comes. A free kick by Milan Govaers is aimed at the goal and just before the goalie tries to grab the ball, it bounces and rolls in. It is not the most beautiful goal but it gives a lot of relief. Actually right from the kickoff it is MVV that goes on the attack for the first time. In the 16 meters the referee sees a foul and puts the ball on the spot. Despite the fact that Kjell Peersman has already stopped a few this year, he has no chance now and it is 1-1. With this score, the break is also reached.

In the 36th minute it is again Govaers who manages to score, a corner that is actually too far comes at the feet of Milan who takes a devastating shot and puts the ball into the net with one stroke. 1-2. MVV's resistance was broken, so Ruben van Bommel and two times Jesper Uneken managed to extend the score even further to 1-5.

After this match, PSV can start getting ready for the championship match. On Tuesday afternoon, May 2, at 5 p.m., PSV needs one more point to win the title. Unfortunately it will be another away game this time against VVV-Venlo. Still, the players expect many supporters to be present at this match to support the team.
