Today was the last league home game for F1 (after the winter break E3).
The second-to-last Bladella came to visit. With a win today the second championship this season could be celebrated.
Unfortunately it was not an exciting match. Just like last week it was Cody who scored two goals within two minutes.
F1 certainly did not play the best game of the season today, but without getting into trouble themselves they easily made it 6-0 at halftime.

To give the players an extra challenge they were told that the 100th goal might be scored today. At halftime, the counter stood at 91. And so the rush on the Bladella goal continued.

At a score of 11-0 it was Bladella who managed to save the honor and at the score of 14-1 they scored again. Everyone went hunting for the 15th (and thus 100th) goal. A shot by Cody hit the bar, a Ruud effort was stopped by the goalkeeper and James hit the side netting.
The final score of this match was 14-2.
Immediately after the final whistle, the players flew into each other's arms for a happy dance of joy. Kam-pi-oe-nuh, kam-pi, kam-pi-oe-nuh!
When everyone had calmed down a bit, the leaders and players were honored by PSV.

Besides a nice trophy and a PSV candy bag the boys were offered a real PSV-champion shirt.

But the most fun is of course the champagne shower, and with 11 bottles of champagne the corks flew around your ears! After the leaders were put in the shower with their clothes on and the players were treated to delicious fries, the whole group left for PSV stadium.

There a very nice guided tour was organized in which the players could take a penalty on Phoxy. After the last drink the players went home, tired but satisfied. It was again a very special day.
