  1. Match report

For the match of the 16th matchday, PSV D2 had to make a move to Tiel. Sportpark de Ridderweide was the venue where coach Bastiaan Riemersma's team would go for yet another win. The goal difference is huge compared to the opposing sides. 96 times scored and barely 8 goals against. A report to say U to. It has been running particularly smoothly since the beginning of the season and everyone expects the logical regression, but that is not yet on the cards.
And it wouldn't come this time either because from minute 2, PSV gets a lot of chances up to six or seven shots in a row in the same phase, but the nets are not shaking yet. Huseyin, Cody, Baggio, Jordan, Robin, ... they are all equally fierce to win, and keep winning.
James sends Robin deep after 5 minutes but Robinho curls the ball ( unfortunately for the PSV supporters ) past the wrong side of the post. However, it is respite because you cannot keep this up as an opposing team. Cody then sends Amar into the lane but Amar too cannot score (yet). The goalkeeper parries the shot.
We are now in minute 28, and chances to score as many goals, when James, again sends Amar deep, and now our "Speedy Gonzales" does score. Cleverly and controlled under the goalkeeper. 0-1. Hardly has kicked off when Cody runs through the axis of the defense and pegs the ball on the crossbar. Cody's blast, hitting ground for the first time somewhere back around the midpoint, is picked up by Amar and now "Speedy" works the ball past the goalkeeper with his left. 0-2. The pace went up with a bang and suddenly the visitors (i.e. us) are ahead 0-2. The referee can hardly handle the pace and decides to take a break. Ha no, it was just rest. The halftime score: 0-2.
After halftime, PSV picks that same pace back up and RKTVC cracks. After three minutes in the second period, far out kick from Arne to Cody, Cody goes into the duel with the goalkeeper and the tangle ball lands in the feet of Jordan , and he has the corner to choose from. 0-3. Two minutes later, PSV's corner kick, the ball reaches Cody, and with a tiptop move ( or a Zidanneke ) he makes a lot of space for himself and shoots in. 0-4. This is what we like. It would be goal number 100, I hear after the game. An anniversary goal. That begs for a cake. Midway through the second period, Justin gets into possession, takes out his man and offers Robin the 0-5 on a shot. Robinho is happy to see it happen and puts the forfait score on the board, 0-5 that is.
Baggio puts up a fierce fight in the middle, sometimes with three opposing players and comes out victorious every time, it must have done him good. But it runs well everywhere. A team does not consist of 4 or 5 players but of an entire core. The defensive compartment stands as a block. The guys who don't start fall in and do a brilliant job, they don't make things easier for their coach, and that's the way it should be. And the coach...you don't hear him complaining either with so much opulence.

Huseyin, who again was a scourge for the opposition, delivered the ball to Roland, and "the little Cristiano Ronaldo with Safari shoes" slammed it in under the crossbar. 0-6 even the "Safari shoes" found their way into the net. Moments later, Roland had another chance to score, but the well-taken free kick was caught by the goalkeeper. Finally, Armando had a stroke of genius and headed straight for goal, but when he armed his right for a scorching shot, a defender was just enough to defuse it.
    The final score 0-6.

PSV was lord and master in this game. Pepijn and Arne almost did not appear in the play, credit to a well-oiled machine called PSV D2. Despite the cold, this viewing was once again particularly enjoyable. The absentees ... they were wrong again.
