A fine start to the match for PSV as 3 chances were created very quickly. Too bad these were not converted into goals. Sarto was also close to a goal after hitting the post with a good shot. Yet it was Yorbe Vertessen (3x) and Thijs Martens(1x) who accounted for the goals before halftime. Sloppy defending and individual mistakes allowed Sarto to score 3 more times so the visitors stayed in the game. After the break the same picture; a combining, but often too sloppy PSV and an opponent who wanted to reach the strikers with long balls. Final score 6-4.
