    The report

Last Saturday Roda JC were guests at the Herdgang for the match against PSV O13. It was to be a game with two faces, with PSV managing to keep the three points in Eindhoven, with a 3-2 victory.

In the second minute, it was Renzo Tytens who immediately showed his weapon. At full speed, he passed two Roda players. At the back line he managed to pass the ball perfectly to Michon Roelofs. Unfortunately Michon did not get the ball right on his foot so just failed to score. But the tone was set by PSV. In the 11th minute, Renzo crossed the ball again, but Michon hit the post. But in the second Michon did score. A deserved lead. A minute later it is Tijn Smolenaars who manages to keep his goal clean with a good save. For the rest of the first half, PSV dominated with some great combination football. But they play the ball too far or it ends up in beauty 20 meters before the goal. There are small chances but these are easy for the Limburgers to defend. So both teams rest with a 1-0 lead for PSV.

In the second half, we see a completely different game. A sloppy PSV with a lot of ball loss and slow in the transition. However, it is PSV that can increase the score, Khaled Rhazak plays the ball from about 15 meters in a controlled way past the goalkeeper. 2-0. After this it was Tijn Smolenaars, the PSV goalkeeper, who intervened several times and kept his goal clean. But in the 44th minute a goal against. From a scrimmage in front of the PSV goal, the ball fell the wrong way and into the goal 2-1. A minute later, PSV managed to increase their lead again. A good cross from Renzo was worked in by Khaled, but Tim van de Heuvel opted for security and gave the ball a push just before the line. So Tim becomes the goal scorer and not Khaled. In the last minute of the match Roda gets a free kick five meters before the goal for a back pass. This was well shot in: 3-2. A few minutes more to go and the victory is a fact.

A good first half with too few goals, but after studying the footage the staff again has enough points to work on this week. But time is short because Wednesday afternoon at 17:00 the next game is already on the schedule, away against ADO Den Haag O13. Good luck boys.
