PSV overpowers Volendam
PSV O16 played themselves with playful ease to a big victory against FC Volendam on Saturday at the Herdgang. The counter stuck at 7-1 according to some, but the excellent referee had counted eight according to his administration on the PSV side.
Volendam had little to contribute against PSV, which opened the scoring in the 6th minute with a fine goal by Jasper, the best of match, who was put alone in front of the goalkeeper by Jesse with a great pass and finished in a controlled manner. PSV then steadily increased the lead with goals by Naïm (2-1 in the 12th minute), D'Leanu (3-1 in the 18th minute), Mo (4-1 in the 40th minute) and doubled the score after halftime with goals by Dylan (5-1 in the 43rd minute), Jesse (6-1 in the 48th minute) and Milan (7-1 in the 71st minute and 8-1 in the 79th minute). A fine final home game of the league to thank the home crowd, with both scoring strikers and midfielders and even defenders and varied goals from combinations, deep passes and corner kicks.
PSV will play the final match of the league next week at noon against FC Dordrecht.
