    The Report

Today a home game against Brabant United was on the program for PSV O13. Given the play in the away game, it should not be a big problem to keep the points in Eindhoven today. But since PSV has been showing rather mixed results in recent weeks, we'll have to wait and see what they show today.

Brabant United started the match brightly. In the 2nd minute they were awarded a penalty, after one of their players was brought down in the penalty area. But as often this season, it is Kjell Peersman - the PSV goalkeeper - who stops the penalty. With a nice dive he whips the well taken penalty out of the corner. There was little else to see in the first half, apart from a shot by Brabant United that hit the bar. PSV did not create any chances before half time. The boys have a total off day.

After halftime, the picture of the game changes little. Although it seems in the 32 minute that PSV is going to score, after Ruben van Bommel goes alone to the goalkeeper. But his shot goes wide. In the 39th minute, PSV takes the lead. After Shijon Martina passed his man on the side of the pitch and got the ball in front of the goal, PSV's line of attack had already gone too far. But Milan Govaerts managed to get the ball on target. Just under the bar the ball disappears into the goal. Brabant United now put everything on the line to score and PSV did not do enough. In the 55th minute another penalty for Brabant United. This time they manage to score. 1-1. PSV O13 now has 2 weeks rest to recharge themselves for the next competition match, against Vitesse. A nice task for trainer Tim Wolf to have his team on edge again.
