For PSV C2 a very tough match was scheduled. Like the A1, they had to take on the leaders. In Maastricht, MVV C1 was the opponent. Although most of PSV C2 were at least one year younger than their opponent, they fought bravely. However, after just a few minutes the first goal was scored. Even before half time it became 2-0 for the home team. After the break, PSV recovered strongly. The tying goal was scored by Maikel Verkoelen, who headed in a free kick from Marco Ospitalieri. PSV tried to get more out of it and there were chances for an equalizer. However, when the 3-1 fell at an unfortunate moment, the game was done. In the last minute it also became 4-1, leaving a flattered result on the scoreboard. Despite the good game PSV C2 stayed empty-handed, they are now in a shared seventh place with NEC C2.
