The report

After a free weekend, due to carnival, last Saturday the competition continued again for PSV O13. N.E.C. was the guest at De Herdgang. The away game was won easily, so normally the three points should stay in Eindhoven today. And as expected, they did. After a good game the points could indeed be credited again. It was a fine 4-1 victory for the boys.

From the beginning it was clear that PSV did not want to give anything away. PSV was on top when the ball was lost and did not let the guests play. On their own possession the ball was easily passed around, creating several chances right from the start. But unfortunately the ball would not go into the goal. For example, Renzo Tytens came close to scoring the opening goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went wide. A shot by Tim van de Heuvel also went just wide. Emmanuel Hagens was unlucky when a shot from 30 meters hit the post. In the 24th minute the goal finally came. After a corner by Renzo the ball came to Ryan, who instead of shooting the ball directly kept the overview and passed the ball to Emir Bars. The latter was able to score from a difficult angle by placing the ball in the far corner: 1-0. In the last minute, N.E.C. managed to get back into the game, scoring from a corner: 1-1. Despite the missed chances and the tie, they went into the break with a good feeling.

Four minutes after the start of the second half, it was Tim who was able to work the ball in, after a good cross from Renzo: 2-1. A few minutes later it was Arthur Piedfort who managed to head the ball in after a corner from Enzo Geerts: 3-1. PSV continued to dominate, without creating any real big chances. In the 48th minute, it was Enzo who was able to pass the ball after a nice and flowing attack. Ryan Statty was able to work the ball in via an opponent. This made the final score 4-1.

So a good match today for PSV O13, with a bit more luck the result could have been bigger. But the game shown was good, so they can build on that this week in training. The next game is against De Spartaan, this amateur club is doing surprisingly well in the league with all the BVO's, so they have been warned.
